The Intercompany Financial Analyst is responsible to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of intercompany trading transactions, as well as promoting transparency and compliance within the organization.
Key Responsabilities:
- Extract and Analyze Consolidated Reports: Extract consolidated reports of differences, identifying discrepancies in intercompany transactions, and conduct a detailed analysis to understand the nature of the differences.
- Consolidated Portfolios: Extract consolidated portfolios by invoice, specifically for difference claims, and collaborate with the Controlling Department to ensure accuracy.
- Reconciliation: Reconcile unreconciled items between Maritime companies and claim outstanding balances with debtors or creditors.
- Intercompany Reconciliation: Reconcile unreconciled items of Maritime companies with other Group companies, associates, and related parties, and take necessary actions to claim outstanding amounts.
- Review Payment Terms: Review and assess payment terms and conditions between Maritime companies and other Group companies, ensuring consistency and compliance with established policies.
- Policy and Procedure Development: Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure proper accounting of intercompany transactions and compliance with accounting regulations and standards.
- Dashboard Creation: Prepare and maintain a dashboard that provides insights into intercompany debt aging, percentage of debt, overdue debt, and other relevant KPIs, facilitating continuous improvement and decision-making.
- Documentation and Dispute Resolution: Take responsibility for preparing documentation related to intra-Maritime and Maritime-Rest of Group companies dispute cases, proposing solutions, and coordinating with relevant stakeholders for resolution.
- Intercompany Loans: Coordinate the formalization of intra-group loans when necessary to clear debt arising from reconciled items, ensuring proper documentation and compliance.
- Communication and Reporting: Communicate with counterparts as needed, sharing copies of invoices and details related to reconciled items. Provide information to the treasury department for XRT (Exchange Rate Table) forecasts.

Requisitos mínimos
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in a similar role or balance claim and accounting functions.
- English and Spanish minimum B2+
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, intercompany transactions, and balance claims.
- Experience in reconciliations and dispute resolution.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem solving.
